ML Mobile Masonry was founded in 2023 by tradespeople who grew up working on the kinds of homes you find all over Mobile - old brick ranches in midtown, historic houses near the Oakleigh Garden District, and newer slab builds out toward Tillman's Corner. They had spent years watching homeowners get burned by contractors who treated Mobile like any other market. They knew the clay soil here moves differently. They knew what Gulf Coast humidity does to mortar over a decade. They decided to do it better.
Since 2023, we have handled foundation repair, chimney work, tuckpointing, brick and stone installation, and a wide range of structural masonry projects for homeowners across Mobile County and the Gulf South. We serve 12 communities - from Prichard to Hattiesburg - and we build every project knowing that Mobile's rain, heat, and occasional tropical storms will test whatever we put in the ground.
We are a small operation by design. Every estimate is done in person. Every project has a lead who is on-site every day. We are not interested in volume for its own sake - we are interested in jobs that hold up and customers who call us back for the next one.
We tell you what your masonry actually needs - not what generates the biggest invoice. If a repair will hold, we say so. If replacement makes more sense long-term, we explain why.
We choose materials and methods that handle Mobile's humidity, heavy rain cycles, and occasional hard freezes. Work done right here has to be built for this climate.
